Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 lb. cream cheese
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Filling:
  • 1 egg white
  • 3/4 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together until combined. Chill at least 2 hours in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Mix together one egg white,3/4 cup ground walnuts, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut in 4-inch squares. Put 1 Tbsp. mixture on corner of each. Roll diagonally from that corner. Turn ends slightly towards each other to form a crescent. Put on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until delicately browned.You can also substitute sour cream for cream cheese. It tastes the same and dough is easier to work.
