Buttermilk Pie Recipe

3 eggs, beaten
1-1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter
1 cup pecans, if desired

Add sugar, buttermilk, vanilla and butter to the 3 eggs. Mix together and pour into a 9 inch pie shell. add 1 cup of pecans if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
