DATE OATMEAL COOKIES Recipe

Cook raisins with approximately 3/4 cup water for 5
minutes and let cool. When through, you should be left with 3
tablespoons of juice. Cream together margarine, sugar and
eggs. Sift dry ingredients together (excluding oatmeal) and
add to creamed mixture. Add raisins, dates, nuts and oatmeal;
mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cookies will become soft
when stored in cookie jar.
