Beef Jerky Recipe

Freeze the brisket over night. Let it thaw a bit; then slice thinly against the grain. Mix the liquids and the seasonings in a container and then add the strips of meat. Shake the container to coat all the strips thoroughly. Marinate overnight. Put the meat strips in the oven on a rack, set at it's lowest temperature. Be sure to use a drip pan or foil unless you like a smokey kitchen. Check after about 5 hours of baking, but figure that it will take 6-7 hours to be completely done.
