Directions:
Cut bread into triangles and arrange in alternative layers with fruit and sugar in a buttered ovenproof dish. Beat eggs and add milk and flavouring. Pour over bread and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in slow oven 300 - 325 (150 - 160 C) for 1 hour or until set. Serve hot. Serves 4
