Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla
  • 1 can chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Beat well. Add dry ingredients, beat together till well blended. Stir in nuts. Butter and flour 9x12 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Frosting;
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons buttter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Cook sugar, milk and butter to full boil. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and blend quickly. Spread on cake while hot.
