Ingredients:

  • 4 cups washed unpeeled peaches
  • 4 cups sugar

Directions:
Wash & peel any bad spots from peaches. Do not peel. Cut into pieces & whirl briefly in a blender. Do about 2 cups at a time. Pour into a large heavy pan & add sugar. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Turn heat to high & boil for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Cook until syrup is clear & mixture is thickened. Pour into sterilized jars & seal. The skin gives a beautiful color to the jam.



Makes about 5 1/2 pints.
