Ingredients

  • 2 bunches fresh broccoli or 3 pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 oz. evaporated milk
  • 1/2# shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can french fried onions

Directions

Steam broccoli until almost tender-about 10-12 minutes. Spray casserole or cake pan 9x13 with Pam or coat with butter, stir soup and milk, place broccoli in pan, pour soup mixture over it and cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Remove and sprinkle with onion. Bake additional 5 to 10 minutes to toast the onions.

Note: This recipe is also delicious with other vegetables as well. Cauliflower, asparagus, green beans can be used in place of the broccoli. If using frozen broccoli, cook in microwave.
