Ingredients

  • Pastry:
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • dash of salt
  • Filling:
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 TBL. flour
  • 6 TBL. lemon juice
  • rind of 1 lemon

Directions

For pastry, mix sugar, flour and salt. Cut in butter. Place in a 9 X 13" pan. Cook 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
For filling, mix all ingredients well. Spread over the top of the cooked pastry. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Sprinkle with more powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
