This may sound like a lot to do for a cheesecake, but it's the best one I've ever had. As long as you don't go for any of the 'light' ingredients, it's loaded with fat.

Ingredients

  • 3 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 Tbl. lemon juice
  • 1 pt. heavy whipping cream (not whipped)
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 graham cracker crust

Directions

Beat cream cheese & sugar til smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add rest of ingredients. Beat on medium speed until well mixed. Pour over graham cracker crust pressed into a 10 or 12 inch spring-form pan. Cook at 350 degrees 1 hour. Turn oven off & leave in hot oven for 8 hours. Do not open oven door. Add topping of choice, or leave plain. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
