Ingredients:

  • 2 oz sweet chocolate (semi sweet ok)
  • 4 oz butter (unsalted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 7 oz sugar
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 4 1/2 oz cake flour
  • 4 oz coarsely chopped walnuts (optional

Directions:
1. Melt chocolate and butter together over double boiler

2. Blend eggs, vanilla and sugar; stir into chocolate mixture

3. add flour and salt; stir until just blended; fold in nuts

4. Place in a floured / lined 9"" cake pan

5. Bake at 350 degrees til done; about 16-20 minutes
