This has always been a big hit when I have taken them to my husbands squadron picnics and also my own home picnics.


  • 4 or 5 Ham slices (thick enough to roll)
  • Cream cheese
  • dill pickles


Place a slice of ham on a plate and spread a nice layer of cream cheese on the ham. Then put a pickle on top of the cream cheese and roll up. Place the seam of the ham on the bottom of a plate so it doesn't unroll and place all of the rolled up pickels in the freezer for about 45 minutes to an hour or so. Take out of the freezer and then slice in to about 1/4 inch slices.
