We usually serve with sliced cheese and crackers or hot bisquits
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- l large can tomato juice
- 4 cups hot water
- 2 cups lentils
- 1 cup diced carrrots
- 1tsp salt 1/2tsp pepper 1 tsp Accent
- 1 cup dhopped celery
- 11/2 cups chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp green pepper flakes
Directions
Cook hamburger until crumbly, drain off fat
Add tomato juice and water
Boil
Add the rest & boil
Simmer 11/2-2 hrs or until lentilsare tender
