Fried Pork Nuggets (Carnitas) Recipe | ||

| Ingredients:
3 pounds pork loin
1 teaspoon salt 1/4 corn oil 4 tablespoons pork lard
Directions:
Boil the pork slowly in enough salted water to cover for 40 minutes. Drain then cut the meat into cubes. Heat the oil and lard in a skillet and fry the pork cubes until crisp and brown on all sides. Carnitas may be used as a filling for tacos with guacamole or served in a mole sauce with rice and beans. |
