Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • 4 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ground thyme
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 lb. seafood (may be shrimp,
  • crab, sea legs, etc.)

Directions

In a large pot, heat oil and take off heat.
Add flour and it will turn into a light brown paste.
Put back on stove and add onion, bay leaves and Worcestershire sauce.
Lower heat and add pepper, garlic, thyme and broth.
Stir and bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes.
Then add cream, tomato paste and seafood.
Cook 10 minutes.
Simmer 2 hours longer and chill for 24 hours.
Reheat and eat.
