Ingredients
- 1 pound ground round
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1 green pepper,chopped
- 3 cups chopped celery
- 3 medium onions, finely chopped
- 8 cups hot water
- 4 envelopes chicken and noodle soup mx
- 3/4 cup wild rice
- 3/4 cup long grain rice
- 1 cup pine nuts(pignolia)
Directions
Brown meat in skillet; drain. Saute green pepper, celery and onion in butter. Salt to taste. Dissolve soup mix in hot water. Add rice, meat, vegetables and nuts. Mix well. Place in casserole. Bake covered at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer. Serves 12
