Not quite what you are looking for but I hope it helps.


  • 2,eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce, divided
  • 1 cup saltine crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • Additional pizza sauce, warmed, optional


In a bowl, combine eggs, 3/4 cup pizza sauce, crumbs, Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese,onion, green pepper, salt, oregano and pepper. Add beef; mix well. Pat into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 degress for 50 minutes. Drain. Spread remaining pizza sauce over the loaf; bake 10 minutes more. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella; return to the oven for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve with additional pizza sauce if desired.
