Frozen Grasshoppers Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 24 large Marshmallows
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup creme de Menthe
  • 3 Tablespoons creme de Cacao
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Directions:
In the top of a double boiler, over gently boiling water, place marshmallows and milk. Heat until Marshmallows are melted, stirring occasionally. Cool. Stir in creme de Menthe and creme de Cacao. Chill over ice water until partly thickened. Meanwhile, whip cream, and fold into thickened, cooled mixture. Turn into sherbet glasses or Chocolate cups and freeze.

Yield: 6 servings


Serve as you would ice cream or let thaw partially. Recipe easily doubled.
