Ingredients:

1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Softened Butter
1/2 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Vanilla
3/4 cup Solid Pack Pumpkin
1/2 cup Raisins (OPTIONAL)
1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (OPTIONAL)

Directions:

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and set aside. Cream butter and sugars in large mixer bowl. Add egg and vanilla: beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin, beating well after each addition. Stir in raisins or nuts.

Drop rounded teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F, 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool completely on racks. Makes 2 Dozen..
