Carmel-Apple Streusel (microwave) Recipe | ||

| Ingredients:
4 medium apples, peeled and cored and sliced
1/2 cup carmel (ice cream) topping 4 tbsp. water 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2/3 cup all-purpose flour 4 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 4 tbsp. margarine or butter
Directions:
Arrange apple slices in the bottom of the Microsteamer. Stir together ice cream topping, water and lemon juice. Carefully pour over apples. In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture. Cook uncovered in microwave, on 100% power (high) for 8-12 minutes or until apples are tender. (If using canned apples, cook 6-8 minutes or until heated through.) |
