Ingredients:

6 cups apples
4 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon cloves
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Peel apples. Put all ingredients in crock pot......this recipe is for a small crock pot......Cook on high for one hour. Turn on low and cook for 9-11 hours. Remove lid and cook the last hour or so if needed. Use whisk to mix. Freeze.

I double this recipe and use a large crock pot......it fills it clear to the top. We really like this.
