White Zinfandel Jelly Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. White Zinfandel
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 pouch liquid pectin

Directions:
Mix the wine and sugar in the top of a double boiler. Heat, stirring until all the sugar melts; this will take 4-5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in luquid pectin. Pour into hot jars to witin 1/8" of the top. Clean rims and seal with a thin layer of paraffin. Makes 4-5 half pints



The comments in the book were: This is a very pretty jelly. It could be made with any wine, but I love the color of the jelly when you use a deep colored zinfandel. Maybe you can also substitue Pink Champange.
