Ingredients:

  • 1-1 1/2 lb. chicken
  • 1 lg. onion
  • Salt & pepper
  • Parsley
  • 1/2 lb. escarole (Endive)
  • Chicken bouillon
  • MEATBALLS:
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • Bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & pepper
  • Onion powder

Directions:
Boil chicken with 4 cups of water. Add first ingredients. Make meatballs tiny. Put meatballs into chicken broth. Simmer 1/2 hour. Last 15 minutes add escarole or endive. Add grated cheese.
