KAASTRUFFELS (Cheese Truffles) Recipe

  Dutch Appetizer




More Dutch Appetizer Recipes
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 tbsp. grated cheese
  • Pepper, salt, celery salt, or paprika to taste
  • Slices of pumpernickel, crumbled into fine crumbs

Directions:
Cream butter until light & fluffy. Mix in cheese & desired spices. Roll mixture into small balls about the size of a large olive. Roll balls in bread crumbs. Refrigerate. Makes about 12.



These are very easy to make & do not need any cooking. Also, easily increased to serve larger numbers.
