my family has always made chile rellanous this way and they are wonderful!


  • wonton wrappers
  • green chilies
  • monteray jack or cheddar or american cheese (any type of firm cheese you prefer)
  • egg whites
  • oil


heat oil to frying temperature
take 1 wonton wrapper, center a sliced open, whole green chile on wrapper, place cheese in center of chile and wrap everything in wonton, sealing sedges with egg whites. Fry until crispy

very high in fat but worth it
