Kohlrabi Coleslaw Recipe

2 to 3 Kohlrabi
Onion
Colw Slaw dressing
or
Mayonase
Salt
Pepper

Summer was not officially at our home until my dad could harvest the first few kohlrabi from our garden and make this wonderful slaw.

Peel and grate the kohlrabi. Add chopped onion and mayonase. Salt & pepper to taste. Make a wonderful refreshing salad.

Mom peeled, sliced, and cooked the kohlrabi until tender and served in a white sauce much like turnips. It is much milder than turnip.
