Homemade Irish Cream Liqueur Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 cups Irish whiskey
  • 1-14 oz can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 Tblsp. chocolate flavored syrup
  • 2 tsp instant coffee
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract or coconut extract

Directions:
In blender, combine ingredients; blend until smooth. Serve over ice. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. Stir before serving.



Maida Heatter's New Book of Great Desserts also has a similar version. Only differences - use 4 eggs rather than whipping cream. For flavorings use 2 Tblsp each vanilla extract and chocolate extract (not syrup), 1 Tblsp coconut extract and 1 Tblsp powdered instant coffee.
