• 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Dash of salt
  • 5 c. sliced, peeled fresh peaches
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • Add'l ground cinnamon
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream


Combine first 4 ingredients together in large bowl, stirring well. Add peaches; toss gently. Arrange peach mixture in bottom of ungreased 13x9x2" baking pan. Dot with 2 tbsp butter. Combine 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, baking powder and salt; stir well. Add egg, and stir well. Sprinkle crumb mixture evelnly over peaches. Drizzle 1/3 c. melted butter evenly over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35-40 minutes or till golden brown. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. 8 servings.
