Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 - 4 c. bread flour
  • 1 3/4 c. warm water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions:
In bread machine, pour in water and salt. Add 3 c. flour and yeast. Set machine on "Dough". After mixture has been incorporated, add remaining flour. When cycle is complete, remove dough and place in large, greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 3 hrs. Punch down and place in greased springform pan (covered) for 1 hr. Mixture will be runny, so it needs to be in a contained pan such as a springform pan or a terracotta baking pan. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes. The last five minutes or so of baking, I gently remove the sides of the springform pan so the sides of the bread bakes more crispy.
