Pasta Salad Recipe
Ingredients:4# of Pasta, Such as Rotini or Wagon Wheels
3 Large Red Bell Peppers
1 to 2 Red Bermuda Onion
2 Head Of Broccoli
1 Pepperoni Stick
A nice bunch of Fresh Basil
Salt And Pepper
Oil And Vinegar or Any Bottled Italian Dressing
Directions:Chop red peppers and onions. Cut/cube up zucchini. Cut brocccoli in small pieces (you may want to blanche the broccoli so it will be a little more tender vs raw. Chop/slice/or grate pepperoni. Cook pasta accordingly. After it is done run it under cold water in colander to avoid it from becoming sticky. Run your hands through it while the water is running to make sure all the starch is removed and no possibility of it sticking together. Put is a very large bowl or you may want to buy a disposable turkey type roasting pan. Add all your vegetables and pepperoni. Chop the basil and throw in. Add salt and pepper to taste, and generously pour on the italian dressing making sure it is well coated. Chill. Toss before serving.
Note: Several bottles will probably be needed so that pasta is generously coated and not dry and sticky.
This is very easy and cost effective. You can actually throw any thing you want into it,ie, carrots, olives, celery,cheese. Use your imagination, and remember, everyone loves pasta salad. Have a great party and Happy Birthday. I made this dish for a surprise 40th birthday for 50 people.
