Marcelle's Multi-Purpose Marinade Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups liquid margarine
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons dried basil leaves
1 1/2 tablespoons salt

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a glass or plastic container fitted with a lid. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before marinating or basting.
Experiment with it--use it generously or sparingly according to taste. Meats can be marinated with it or it can be used as a basting sauce.
