Fried Oysters Recipe

Ingredients:
1 (12oz.)can select oysters
4 eggs, slightly beaten
bread crumbs, finely grated
salt and pepper

Directions:
Drain oysters; dry thoroughly between paper towels. Season the eggs lightly with salt and pepper. Dip each oyster into eggs, then into bread crumbs; place on a cutting board for 1/2 hour to dry. Deep fry in hot Crisco(shortening) at 365-375 degrees for 2-3 minutes until brown. Drain on paper towels.
