Diabetic Fruit Bars Recipe

  Dessert

Ingredients:
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup prunes
1 cup water
1 stick margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Boil dates, raisins, prunes in 1 cup water for 5 minutes. Melt margarine in the fruit mixture and let cool. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees in a 9x9-inch baking pan.
