Pumpking Ice Cream Recipe | |

Ingredients:
2 cups milk4 egg yolks or 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup sugar 1/8 tsp salt 2 cups canned pumpkin 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp allspice 1/4 tsp ginger 1 cup cream 1 cup nuts (optional)
Directions:
Scald milk in double boiler. In a bowl combine eggs, sugar, salt, pumpkin, vanilla, and spices. Add to hot milk and cook 4 minutes longer. Cool. Add the cream and nuts. Pour into freezer. Crank until stiff. |
