Skillet Cranberries Recipe

Ingredients:
1# fresh cranberries
2 c. brown sugar (or white may be used)
2 1/4 c. rum

Directions:
Place berries in a cast iron skillet, sprinkle sugar on top. Cover skillet and place in a 250 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove cover and pour rum over the top...continue cooking until the rum evaporates. DO NOT STIR....stirring breaks up the cranberries.....Enjoy.....serves 4 to 6
