Scalloped Apples Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds Granny Smith apples
2/3 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Dash nutmeg

Directions:
Core and peel apples. Cut into bite-size chunks. Put into buttered casserole. Boil together brown sugar, butter, apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for aboiut 25 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or at room temperature.
