Ingredients:
1 cup sugar3 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 pint whole milk
Directions:
Beat egg yolks, sugar, and milk together. Add vanilla and nutmeg. Beat egg whites with clean beaters in a separate bowl until stiff. Then fold into egg and milk mixture. pour into a glass baking dish then place that pan into a pan surrounded with boiling water. Bake at 425 degrees for first 10 minutes. Then at 350 degrees until knige comes out clean. This will get a wonderful brown crust on top. |
