Creamy Tomato Soup Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1/4 c. minced onion3 tbsp butter or margarine 3 tbsp flour 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 c. milk 4 c. tomato juice 1 sm bay leaf
Directions:
Saute onion in butter in large saucepan until tender. Add flour, salt & pepper, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and tomato juice; cook over med. heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Add bay leaf; simmer 1 minutes. Remove bay leaf, serve. 5 1/2 cups. |
