Buttermilk-Chicken Bisque Recipe

  Soup

Ingredients:
1 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
Dash bottled hot pepper sauce
4 cups buttermilk
8 oz. chicken breast, cooked and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 small cucumber, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 2oz. jar diced pimento, drained (1/4 cup)

Directions:
In 1-1/2 quart bowl mix onion salt, mustard, sugar, thyme, and hot pepper sauce. Stir in buttermilk, chicken, cucumber, green pepper, celery, and pimiento. Cover; chill.


Makes 8 to 10 servings.
