Ingredients:
4 large cloves garlic, peeled1 (1 lb, 14 oz) can chickpeas, drained 2/3 c. tahini (sesame seed paste) 1 1/2 t. cumin powder 1/3 c. lemon juice salt and pepper 2 T. olive oil
Directions:
Put all ingredients, except salt and pepper, in bowl of food processor. Puree until smooth, about 2 minutes, then add salt and pepper to taste. Pour onto a large plate, and pour olive oil on top. Garnish with parsley.Serve with sliced vegetables and/or pita cut in wedges for a dip. |
