Oriental Grilled Tuna Recipe

  Chinese Seafood

Ingredients:
4 6oz. fresh or froze tuna steaks, cut 1 inch thick ( halibut or marlin are good alternatives if tuna unavailable)
3 Tblsp. olive oil or cooking oil
2 Tblsp. dry sherry
2 Tblsp. soy sauce
1 Tblsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 tsp. grated ginger root or 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
Cooking oil

Directions:
Thaw fish, if frozen. For glaze, in a small mixing bowl combine oil, sherry, soy sauce, lemon juice garlic & ginger. Brush grill rack lightly with oil. Preheat gas grill, adjust for direct grilling. Place tuna on grill rack over medium heat. Cover and grill 8-10 minutes or just till fish begins to flake easily, turning once halfway through and brushing occasionally with glaze.

Indirect grilling-same as above but adjust grill for indirect cooking & grill 8-12 minutes.
