  Lebanese Salad

½ Medium size Romanian lettuce
2-3 medium size tomatoes
2 medium size cucumbers? 1 bell Pepper
1-2 small garlic cloves
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ fresh lemon (juice)
Dash of salt to taste
½ teaspoon dried mint
few leafs of parsley or purslane

Add the garlic cloves to salt and crush well.
Cut the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers into cubes then add to a bowel. Add olive oil, lemon juice, dried mint and purslane to the bowel. Mix the ingredient together.

Serves 3-4 people. It could be served as an appetizer or a side dish.
Serve this dish within 30 minutes. Garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice are the main ingredients for this type of salad. Have a glass of orange juice to get rid of the unfavorable smell of garlic (one of the the healthiest ingredients that is less used).
