Sour Cream Rhubarb Squares Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 1/2 c packed brown sugar1/2 c shortening 1 egg 2 cups flour 1 t baking soda 1/2 t salt 1 c sour cream 1 1/2 c rhubarb, cut up in 1/2-in. pieces Topping: 1/2 c sugar 1 T melted butter 1/2 c chopped nuts 1 t cinnamon
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening and egg thoroughly. Stir together flour, soda, salt and add to creamed mixture. Alternate stirring rhubarb and sour cream in mixture. Turn into greased and floured 13x9x2-in. baking pan. Sprinkle on topping and bake in 350 degrees F. oven for 45 to 50 minutes.Topping: Mix together and serve on sour Cream Rhubarb Squares. |
