FRESH FIG-WALNUT SPREAD Recipe

  Appetizer

Ingredients:
FRESH FIG-WALNUT SPREAD

8 fresh figs, at the peak of ripeness
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 T raw honey (or more, to taste)

Directions:
1. Cut the hard tips off of the figs and cut them in half. Place cut figs in the bowl of a food processor.
2. Add remaining ingredients and pulse to desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
3. Serve. Can be refrigerated up to 2 days.
