Sambal Kacang (Peanut Sauce) Recipe

  Thai Sauces

Ingredients:
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. peanuts, crushed to powder
1/4 c. shallots, chopped fine
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tbsp garlic, chopped fine
1/2 tsp shrimp paste
1/2 tsp chili paste
1/2 tsp palm sugar

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer until sauce thickens. Serve hot or cold. (Found a couple of udang, which is the prawn, but none w/potatoes.)
