Low Fat Butter and Cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
8 oz. no fat cream cheese
2 cups low fat milk 2%
2 Tbsp. (1/2 oz.) butter substitute
pinch nutmeg
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
In a blender, or using a hand held whip, blend no fat cream cheese and milk, add butter substitute and nutmeg. Place ingredients into a sauce pan, set it over medium heat, bring sauce to a simmer. Remove from heat, pour sauce over pasta, toss. Add grated parmesan, toss again.


Note: You need not start the sauce until your pasta is in the water and boiling. Also, for butter substitute, try Molly McButter or Butter Buds.
