Burnt Sugar Frosting Recipe

Ingredients:
1/3 c. butter
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
remaining burnt sugar syrup
Cream or undiluted evaporated milk - (about 2 tbsp)

Directions:
Cream butter or margarine. Beat in sugar, salt, vanilla and the reserve syrup. Add enough milk or cream to give spreading consistency. Enough for frosting and filling of 2 layer cake.
