Ingredients:
3 Tbl. butter3 Tbl. flour 1 1/2 quarts half & half 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. white pepper 6 oz. crab meat (or more if you like) 1/2 c. dry sherry few drops hot sauce, try first to see if it needs it
Directions:
Melt butter in the top of a double boiler, stir in the flour and cook for about three minutes, stirring constantly. Add the half & half, salt & pepper and stir-cook until the bisque has thickened.Add the crab anfd sherry, reheat and this will provide four main-dish servings or six , first-course protions. Taste for hot sauce, it needed add at the end. A bisque is any cream based shellfish soup. |
