Ingredients:
2 c. well-sweetened apple sauce2 tbsp lemon juice 2 eggs 1 tbsp flour 1 tsp. each nutmeg & cinnamon Pinch of salt
Directions:
Combine apple sauce, lemon juice, salt, flour, well-beaten eggs yolks and spices. Cook over hot water until thick & smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
