Chinese Chicken Wings Recipe

  Chinese Wings

Ingredients:
1 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp ginger, ground
1/4 tsp anise, ground
1/4 tsp allspice, ground
6 green onions, sliced thin
16 chicken wings

Directions:
Mix the soy sauce, anise, allspice, ginger and oil in large bowl (or ziplock bag). Mix in sugar till dissolved; stir in onions. Add chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover or seal, refrigerate for 8 hours or longer. Preheat oven to 375. Drain wings; reserve marinade. Place wings in 9 x 12 baking dish and bake till golden brown (45-60 min) depending on how crisp you want them. Baste 2 or 3 times with the marinade while baking.
